Van Glorb Gogh
A downloadable game for Windows
This game was created by Team 28 of Sheridan Design Week Spring 2025. The prompt was to create an escape game with the inclusion of a physical element.
A conspiracy theorist's investigation confirms his suspicions that the famous artist Van "Glorb" Gogh is still alive and being held hostage by the alien cat people at their Intergalactic Museum to make paintings. He must uncover the truth in the paintings and release Van "Glorb" Gogh from his prison.
This game uses physical anaglyph lenses to solve the puzzles, but we have implemented an anaglyph filter for this itch.io version of the build. This can be toggled by the red or blue filter buttons when paintings are inspected. The museum brochure (PDF) contains useful notes to help solve the mystery.
Warning, the puzzles might be a bit difficult...
